2012 KHSAA Boys' Sweet Sixteen Basketball Tournament

Trinity became the first Kentucky high school to win both the football and basketball title in the same year, by winning the 2012 KHSAA Boys' Sweet Sixteen Tournament. They dominated the game starting midway through the second quarter. Led by Charles Foster and tournament MVP, Nathan Dieudonne the Shamrocks finished out a memorable season by defeating the tenacious Cardinals of Scott County, 71-53.

Trinity head coach Mike Szabo cuts the net after winning. Trinity shot 63% from the field and won by 18 points.

Scott County forward Tamron Manning lead all scores with 28, but all five Trinity starters scored in double figures.
