Yesterday I made photos in Rupp Arena for the first time since graduation in 2005. There was no feeling of awkwardness it just felt like being back at home. It was good to see my friends like Bill Luster who always tries to embarrass me with stories of goofy things I have done or said.
The best part was eating dinner with a big group and then going to see a show of one of the photographers at the Herald-Leader. Mark Cornelison had an exhibit of Rock and Roll photos he has made over the years. There were about 75 or 80 people crowded into a small salon on Maxwell Street. At one point the breadth of photo talent in the state of Kentucky was in one room.
