While making photographs in the forest today I noticed something. Well actually I noticed a lot of things, the beautiful flowers in the foreground of this image, the peaceful noises made by the water rushing over the rocks, the salamanders scampering over tree logs, and some cigarette butts. Wait what is wrong with this picture.
Oh yeah the cigarette butts. It is very uncouth to smoke in a natural wonder such as the Bankhead National Forest and even more of a slap in Mother natures' face by throwing your cigarette butts on her floor. So if you need to smoke leave your butts at home, or at least take them with you and don't leave them in a place people are trying to conserve.
