Round Ball in ATL with the Kitty Cats.

The cats bowed out of the SEC tournament in the second round for the second year in a row. They also played on Thursday for the second year in a row, something they haven't done since 91, when the conference split into east and west. They played like the Cats of days gone by with an impressive win over an injury ridden Alabama. Miss State was just too much in the overtime period after a mistake by Tubby by not fouling with 5 seconds left in regulation. Miss State's Jamont Gordon hit a three pointer as time ran out to tie the game at 76 a piece. Kentucky had a chance to win the game but Joe Crawford wasted too much time with 18 seconds left in overtime winding the clock down to 9 seconds before attempting to score. UK lost 84-82.
