Today we got a chance to see one of the 8 wonders of the world. It is a replica of many famous places and edifices throughout the world. Located on the grounds of St. Bernard Monestary the "Ave Maria Grotto" has been cared for for 40 plus years by Leo Schwaiger. We hope to spend more time with this interesting character. To get this angle Danielle got on my shoulders and made pictures from up high. The light was sublime and that was a bonus.
